UFC Bantamweight Sean O’Malley Suffers Humiliating Victory

LAS VEGAS — Despite outstriking his opponent with clean punches, kicks, and even a flying knee before referee Herb Dean called an end to the bout with only 23 seconds remaining in the final round, rising bantamweight Sean O’Malley shocked fans everywhere when he recorded a victory against Kris Moutinho at UFC 264.

The decision to stop the fight drew the ire of the crowd of 20,000, setting off deafening boos inside the T-Mobile Arena. The crowd initially cheered O’Malley’s appearance and chanted his name, but were slowly won over the intrepid Moutinho, who appeared unfazed by the avalanche of strikes he faced, behaving almost zombie-like as O’Malley did his best to avoid injuring his tiny, delicate bones and fragile ankles.
